Teaching to the Middle

I am Julie Anne Pettyjohn, teacher to 6th, 7th, & 8th-grade language arts students in a private school in Joplin, Missouri. I'm also an author-want-to-be. I've completed one fiction middle school manuscript and working on a second. Unfamiliar with the publishing world, I'm thinking I will try self-publishing. Look for me on Amazon. Hope you find some ideas you can use here. Please share some of your own.
